New BCCC Bat Friendly Business Certification

Get your business certified Bat Friendly by the Bat Conservancy of Coastal California (BCCC)!

This certification will set you apart from competitors and may be the deciding factor for environmentally conscious customers. With companies taking more responsibility for their impact on the environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you to demonstrate to the public your willingness to do your part.

Requirements for Bat Friendly Business Certification

  1. Contact BCCC and schedule a presentation on bats and bat friendly policies and procedures for your industry that must be followed in order to be certified. All employees are required to attend the presentation; anyone who is not able to attend must watch a video of the presentation and contact BCCC if they have any questions.
  2. After all employees have seen the presentation, each employee must sign an agreement to comply with the requirements of a bat friendly business.
  3. Your company must become a corporate member of BCCC ($50 annual subscription, $25 for nonprofits and very small businesses
